The Rothko Collective is a young contemporary music ensemble reshaping and redefining classical music.

We create immersive and moving experiences by reimagining the

using theatrical elements, and by commissioning music by artists from the

concert format, global majority.

We have commissioned over 20 new works, and released 3 albums, including

collaborations with State51 and Apartment House.

We were featured on BBC Radio 3, and recently put on a festival comprised of 6 events

exploring music from 1600-present.

Our group is comprised of some of London’s top emerging artists, who have worked with the Riot Ensemble, 12 ensemble, Chineke!, and the Britten Sinfonia.
